Poor dry soils are bad news for a lot of plant varieties but Arabis caucasica 'Snowcap' wouldn't have it any other way. This tough, resilient evergreen perennial will thrive in rockeries, borders and path edges providing ground cover throughout the year and masses of little white flowers in spring. Pollinating insects will feast on the nectar rich flowers so Arabis will be welcome feature in a wildlife garden too. Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 50cm (20").

Grow Arabis plants in any well drained soil in full sun. These tolerant little plants will easily cope with hot, dry conditions and poor, gritty soils once established.

After flowering, cut back faded blooms and foliage to maintain a neat and compact habit.
