A vibrant mix of ruffled, fully double blooms are produced all summer long on the strong stems of this cottage garden favourite. Dianthus 'Ever-blooming Mix' has a delightful sweet fragrance and forms neat cushions of evergreen foliage, making a fabulous display at the front of beds and borders Carnations also make a charming, long-lasting cut flower for a vase indoors. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 40cm (16"). Supplied as plug plants.

Pot up dianthus plug plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions. When dianthus plants are fully rooted into their pots, and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant carnations into well drained soil in full sun.

Feed and water dianthus plants regularly until they are fully established. Make sure to weed between plants when they are young. Deadhead faded dianthus flowers frequently to encourage more blooms to be produced.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
