These outstanding poppies are the result of years of breeding to create wonderful double blooms with a silky texture, in a selection of pastel shades and picotees. Like its wild poppy cousins, Poppy 'Angels Choir Mixed' puts on a terrific show through early and mid-summer, setting seed in late summer and producing lots of seedlings the following year. These hardy annuals will grow in any soil, looking fantastic planted in drifts in beds and borders where they will attract bees. Height: 70cm (28"). Spread: 30cm (12"). Supplied as plug plants.

Pot up poppy plug plants and grow them on in frost free conditions. When poppy plants are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days and transplant into beds and borders. Grow annual poppies in a sunny position in any well drained, fertile soil.

Water poppy plants regularly until well established. Annual poppies self seed freely. Remove faded poppy flowers if seedlings are not wanted the following year.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.
