Brazilian Button, as it is commonly known, produces fluffy, button-like flowers in a pretty shade of lavender blue. The bushy stems of Centratherum intermedium 'Pineapple Sangria' bear attractive, ribbed foliage with a surprising pineapple aroma. This tender perennial is surprisingly tolerant of heat and drought, producing masses of flowers over a long period which will attract butterflies to your borders and containers. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 60cm (24"). Supplied as plug plants.

Pot up Brazilian Button plug plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When Centratherum plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant outdoors in full sun on any well drained soil.

Water regularly until Centratherum plants are fully established. Deadhead faded Brazilian Button flowers throughout the summer to encourage more blooms to be produced.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.
