Semi-double, golden yellow blooms adorn this attractive coreopsis throughout the summer on neat compact plants. Coreopsis grandiflora 'Sunray' works well in both annual beds and perennial borders, where its luminous flowers are produced in profusion. This tickseed plant also makes an excellent addition to mixed patio displays and is attractive to bees. Height and spread: 45cm (18"). Supplied as plug tray plants.

Pot up coreopsis plug plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in frost free conditions. When coreopsis plants are well grown and fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days and transplant into borders. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position on reliably moist, well drained soil. Coreopsis plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to water logging.

Water regularly until tickseed plants are fully established. Deadhead faded coreopsis flowers to encourage more to be produced throughout the summer. In autumn, remove old foliage and faded flower stems. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost around the base of the plant in spring.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above.
