Description How to Grow More Info Delivery
Aptly named, this impressive Hydrangea produces incredible flower heads measuring up to 30cm (12") across! Hundreds of pretty flowers emerge from mid-summer in a delicate shade of lime green, developing to pure snowy white, before fading to pale green as they mature. Unlike many other arborescens varieties, Hydrangea arborescens 'Incrediball' has strong, sturdy stems quite capable of supporting the massive flower heads. This fantastic deciduous shrub is perfect as a specimen shrub, planted in mixed borders or in woodland gardens, where it offers good autumn leaf colour too. Height and spread: 2m (6.5'). Supplied in a 9cm pot.

Caution: irritant, harmful if eaten. When growing Hydrangea arborescens, choose a sunny or semi shaded spot that is sheltered from cold winter winds. Plant Hydrangeas in borders in rich moist, non alkaline, well drained soil. Add plenty of well rotted manure to improve heavy clay or light sandy soils.
Water Hydrangea plants regularly until fully established. Leave faded hydrangea flower heads in place until new buds swell the following spring. These will help protect the delicate buds from frost damage. Prune stems in spring, removing any rubbing, damaged or diseased stems and reducing stems to maintain a permanent woody framework. In spring, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant.

Van Meuwen strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.
