Pot up helianthemums and grow them on in frost free conditions. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise rock roses to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting outdoors. Grow helianthemum plants in moderately fertile, neutral or alkaline soil in full sun. Once established, rock roses can easily tolerate dry sandy soils. Choose a position in full sun.Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Once established, rock roses are relatively drought tolerant and require minimal maintenance. After flowering, prune helianthemum stems back to within 3cm (1") of the previous growth.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Van Meuwen strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting.
