These colourful Heucherella are hybrids developed by crossing 2 popular garden perennials. The vibrant leaf colour of Heuchera combine with the pretty foliage shapes of Tiarella to give the best characteristics of both parents. Evergreen and clump forming with a loose trailing habit - these hardy perennials are perfect for year round colour in baskets, window boxes or gently spreading through the front of borders for a magical display. Supplied as plug plants. Height: 25cm (10"). Spread: 60cm (24").
  • Collection comprises:
  • Heucherella 'Sweet Tea' - Burnt-orange leaves that darken throughout summer.
  • Heucherella 'Stoplight' - Chartreuse-yellow foliage with contrasting, dark-crimson markings.
  • Heucherella 'Redstone Falls' - Vibrant green and ruby red leaves creating a mixture of autumnal colours which change with the seasons.

Pot up Heucherella plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in frost free conditions. When plugs are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting in their final positions. Heucherella plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to waterlogging. Plant them in a moist, well drained soil, adding compost or well rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade. Grow Heucherella in borders for ground cover or grow them as trailing plants in patio containers, baskets and window boxes.
Feed, water and weed between plants regularly until they are fully established. Apply mulch of well rotted manure around the crown of each plant in autumn or spring. Lift and divide clumps of Heucherella every 3 years in autumn to maintain vigorous, healthy growth.

Van Meuwen strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.
