Large yellow/orange fruits of approx. 50 kg. The flesh is certainly edible but is somewhat spongy and fibrous. Sow in a greenhouse in small boxes or directly in large pots. Transplant after mid May once there are 4 true leaves. Pumpkins are very sensitive to night frost. The plant requires plenty of fertiliser, water, and warmth. Therefore grows very well on compost heaps and dunghills. Cut off the tendrils if they grow too long.
