Mizuna or Japanese Salad (Brassica rapa subsp. Nipposinica var. Japonica). The origin of Miquna is Chinese and it is called Xiu cai. The plant has attractive long shaped, toothed leaves. Can be used fresh in salads or for stir frying. Sow outdoors from mid April until the end of August. Plant out 25 cm apart, 40 cm between rows. You can harvest the mizuna after 6-8 weeks, cutting off the leaves just above the soil.
