Eryngium planum ‘Blue Hobbit’ is a compact Sea Holly plant best suited to a flowerpot on a sunny patio. It also makes an interesting addition to the front of borders, particularly when it flowers in mid to late summer. Blue Eryngo’s unusual blooms are numerous and metallic-blue in colour, providing a lovely contrast with the brighter tones of some Hydrangeas and Geraniums. What’s more, the hardy perennial flourishes in most soil types and can even withstand windy conditions in coastal gardens. Height: 30cm (1′). Spread: 30cm (1′).
