Liatris spicata is a hardy perennial that produces magnificent blooms in August and September, perfect to brighten up your garden in late summer. Its tall stems bear stiff, vertical spikes of buds, which gradually open to reveal stunning columns of purple blooms. These flowers are rich in nectar as well as colour and texture, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies and making this Gayfeather a valuable addition to any wildlife garden.
