Ruby red petals with fluted edges surround a velvety button centre of saffron yellow and red, and grow above narrow, sharply pointed leaves. The warm colours of Helenium ‘Ruby Tuesday’ work well with other fiery colours and its tall, branched form looks good amongst swaying ornamental grasses. The show of colour lasts right through from July to September, and the nectar is loved by pollinating insects. Given moist conditions and full sun, Helen’s Flower is easy to grow. It makes a great cut flower too. Height: 60cm (2’0). Spread: 45cm (1’6).
