Nasturtium

A very special Garden Nasturtium with single and semi-double flowers in vanilla-creamy yellow with peach-orangey red patches. Excellent as hanging plant in larger containers or of course as ground cover. (suppresses weeds) The strong peppery flavoured leaves and particularly the flowers are sometimes used in salads. Sow in the final spot for use as ground cover. Very little or no fertilisation. The fresh harvested seeds are sometimes preserved as capers.
